What is the 90 Day Exception through Teachworthy?
For candidates that have passed their content exam and are formally admitted to an Educator Preparation Program after July 12th, the Texas Education Agency allows those candidates to be hired by school districts without first completing their pre-service training and classroom observation hours (30).
Once a candidate is hired, the candidate is given 90 days to complete the training requirements in order to retain their internship teaching certificate and their position with the school district.
To qualify for the 90 Day Exception, you will need to apply to Teachworthy as soon as possible, receive your certification plan and finally pass your content exam.
